What this site collects

Before You Book is a set of static pages plus one contact form. Reading the site needs no account and no sign-in. The single place a reader hands over information is the form on the contact page, described below. This site is not a medical practice and has no connection to the medical spas that previously used this domain, so the only records it holds are the ones described on this page.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served through a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That processing is governed by the host's own privacy policy.

Fonts

Pages load the IBM Plex typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads. Google may log those requests per its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The pages of this site are static files. Any cookie your browser receives while reading one comes from the host's network layer, where it is used for security and bot detection, and the host's own privacy policy describes it. This page carries the date it was last reviewed.

The contact form

Submitting the contact form stores the message you typed and, where you fill them in, your name, email address, and subject, together with the date, the IP address the request came from, and your browser's user-agent string. That record is used to read and answer the message and, where you send a correction, to record it in the relevant article's update log. It is kept as part of that correction record for as long as the article stays published. Please do not send health information; we are not clinicians and cannot act on it.
